Kuga production starts at Ford Saarlouis

26 February 2008

Ford has started series production of the crossover Kuga model at its Saarlouis plant in Germany.

The introduction of the Kuga means that the Saarlouis plant, which has been expanded to a capacity of 425,000 vehicles a year, is producing three different cars for the first time. The plant also makes the C-Max and the Focus.

Ford says it will build 45,000 Kugas at Saarlouis in 2008.
